Live-out Housekeeper in Kensington

Our private clients are seeking an experienced and professional Housekeeper to join a team of four within a large, formally managed family residence in Kensington. Spanning five principal floors, this substantial household requires a dedicated team player who will work collaboratively with the existing domestic staff to maintain the highest standards of care and presentation.

The successful candidate will be highly organised, take great pride in their work, and demonstrate exceptional attention to detail. A flexible and proactive approach is essential, with a willingness to go above and beyond when required to ensure the smooth running of the household’s day-to-day operations. The family have other nearby properties and one in Surrey, whereby a member of the domestic team is transported to clean one day a week, therefore your flexibility to travel to any one of these properties is also key.

 

Main Duties and Responsibilities

 

• Providing an exceptional standard of service to the family and their guests.

• To be able to follow the instructions provided by the principals/guests/management and report to the House Manager

• The day-to-day running and working in all areas of housekeeping, to deliver the highest level of personal service to the principal.

• Maintaining stock control and rotation of all household items.

• Assist with Trip planning and packing/unpacking for the principals.

• Must be comfortable working around children

• Follow and complete all departmental SOPs, systems and duties to the exceptional household standards expected.

• Responding to any other ad hoc duties as required by the family – a high level of amenability and flexibility is required.

 

Hours & Salary

• Monday – Friday between either 8 am – 6 pm or 9 am – 7 pm

• £55 – £60,000 gross pa DOE

• PAYE contract and Statutory Entitlements
