Live-out Housekeeper in Holland Park

Our private clients are seeking a highly experienced, long-term housekeeper to join their household team. Working 5 days a week, 9am-6pm, with some weekend work, the housekeeper will be responsible for the upkeep of a large town house and some light cooking when the chef is off duty. Wardrobe management will also be part of the role as well as occasional table service.
Key Requirements
- Stability and proven longevity in past roles is essential.
- Team players – must work seamlessly alongside other household staff.
- Hands-on – this is not a supervisory or delegating role. We require someone proactive, solutions-focused, and willing to take ownership of tasks.
Core Responsibilities
- Housekeeping: All classic duties including bed-making, bathroom cleaning, vacuuming, dusting, mopping, and general upkeep of the home. Candidates must be genuinely willing and happy to clean.
- Laundry & ironing: Full management of household laundry, including care of delicate fabrics.
- Packing & wardrobe management: Packing/unpacking for travel, clothing care, organisation, and upkeep of wardrobes.
- Household management: Ordering groceries (Ocado, Amazon), liaising with clinicians for medication/supplements, and ensuring smooth day-to-day running of the household.
- Table setting & service: Ability to set a formal/informal table for meals, and provide service on occasions when the family hosts.
- Cooking: Must be comfortable and confident with cooking. While a chef is employed, the housekeeper will be required to prepare meals when needed.
- Service provider liaison: Able to communicate with and oversee third parties such as handyman, gardener, electrician, plumber, and property manager for the general maintenance of the house.
Additional Information
- Previous experience working for HNW clients in a formal household required.
- Must be able to travel with the family at short notice.
- Salary up to £60,000 gross per annum.
- Must have the right to work in the UK
