Dog Walker-House Person in Kensington

Our private clients are looking for a Dog Nanny / House-person for a position based in Kensington. This is a full-time, live-out role in a prestigious Grade II listed family home, caring for five dogs, a cat, three rabbits, and a tortoise. Occasional travel may be required, so applicants must hold a UK or EU passport.
We’re seeking a dedicated professional with strong canine care and training experience, excellent organisational skills, and a proactive, detail-oriented approach.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide attentive care to all household pets.
- Manage feeding schedules, medication, and supply orders.
- Walk dogs daily and tailor care to individual needs.
- Maintain cleanliness of pet areas and enclosures.
- Prepare pets for travel, including packing and documentation.
- Groom pets and coordinate professional grooming services.
- Schedule vet visits, vaccinations, and manage health records.
- Continue and support pet training programs.
- Communicate with the family and household team.
- Update pet manuals and weekly care reports.
- Train other staff to assist during your time off.
- Organise pet kennel bookings and transport.
- Light housekeeping in pet areas and support garden/facilities team.
- Assist with other tasks as needed—flexibility is essential.
Working Hours & Leave
- 5 days on, 2 days off; shifts typically 7:30am–6:00pm.
- Flexibility required for household routines and events.
- 20 days annual leave plus UK public holidays.
- Extra days worked can be exchanged for time off.

- Fluent spoken and written English.
- Immaculate presentation.
- Attentive, patient, proactive, discreet, trustworthy, and confident.
- Must have previous experience in a similar role and have the right to work in the UK
Salary & Benefits
- £45,000 gross per year.
