Daily Rota Housekeeper in Mayfair

Our international client is seeking a  Daily Rota Housekeeper to join a fully staffed and formally run 5 bedroom / 2 storey property.

The family consists of the main Principals, 5 children, and a couple of small dogs, so a child and dog friendly Housekeeper is important.

This person will join a team of 4 staff, with 2 Housekeepers on each shift sharing the duties.

You will be professional, experienced, and energetic, with previous experience working in a luxury property, hotel or similar, and used to high end finishes and 5* standards.

The Housekeeper will be confident, extremely reliable, trustworthy, and energetic with an eye for details, and strong cleaning skills and product knowledge.

This role is based on a Rota, working 4 days on, 4 days off and so. You will be paid in full for the week, due to the long hours involved when working the 4 day rota.

Duties :

• Perform general day to day household cleaning & errands

• Care of silver and fine furniture and fabrics

• Laundry, ironing (inc care of delicate items of clothing) & wardrobe management

• Assist in the kitchen around meal times, serve, clean down, dishes etc.

Requirements:

• Proven experience and longevity in previous roles with checkable references

• Proactive, self-starter and team player

• Good level of spoken English

• Pet friendly (the family has dogs and reptile pets)

• Legal right to work in UK & current DBS (or happy to obtain)

Rota / Salary:

• 4 days on, 4 days off including weekends when on rota, with one hour lunch break

• Salary £40,000 gross pa plus statutory entitlements and pension contributions

The ideal Housekeeper will be based in and around London Zones 1- 5, and free to start ASAP or with little notice period.
