Arabic Tutor (Egyptian Dialect & Culture) in Knightsbridge/St John’s Wood

Our clients, a private family based in Knightsbridge, London, are seeking an experienced Arabic‑speaking tutor to support four children (ages 4 to 12) in developing their Egyptian Arabic dialect, improving overall language fluency, and deepening their understanding of Egyptian culture through engaging, age‑appropriate activities.
The family will be relocating later this year to St John’s Wood, London, and the role will continue there.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver fun, structured lessons in Arabic (Egyptian dialect)
- Introduce the children to Egyptian cultural traditions, stories, and customs
- Adapt teaching methods for ages ranging from early years to pre‑teens
- Create interactive activities that encourage language use at home
- Provide feedback to the parent on progress and engagement
- Collaborate with the family to build a consistent learning routine
Candidate Profile
Essential:
- Strong fluency in Arabic, ideally with knowledge of the Egyptian dialect
- Experience teaching or tutoring children (any age group 4–12)
- Creative, organised, and able to manage lessons for multiple children
- Reliable, professional, and comfortable working in a private household setting
Desirable:
- Background in early‑years or primary education
- Experience incorporating cultural learning into language teaching
- Ability to design engaging learning materials and activities
