Live-out Housekeeper in Notting Hill

Our private clients are seeking an experienced and proactive live-out Housekeeper for a full-time position based in Notting Hill. The ideal candidate will be a team player with a strong work ethic, excellent organisational skills, and a child-friendly attitude.

Schedule:

• 5 days per week
  – Ideally Wednesday to Sunday
  – Tuesday to Saturday can also be work for the client

• Working Hours:
  – 8:00 AM / 9:00 AM start
  – 6:00 PM/ 7: 00 PM finish
  – Occasional flexibility required (e.g. evening babysitting)

Household:

• Busy family household with 2 young children

• Staffed with a full-time nanny and a live-in au pair

• The Housekeeper should be child-friendly and willing to support the mother when childcare staff are unavailable

Key Responsibilities (include but are not limited to):

• Full housekeeping duties for a 5-bedroom townhouse (no lift)

• Laundry and wardrobe management

• Organising cupboards and general home tidiness

• Managing household post and deliveries

• Liaising with contractors and service providers

• Occasional childcare support (e.g. school pick-ups, babysitting)

• Light cooking (healthy, simple family-style meals on occasion)

Candidate Requirements:

• Must be organised, proactive, and take initiative

• A team player with a positive, can-do attitude

• Comfortable working in a fully staffed household

• Must be eligible to work in the UK and have excellent references

Start Date:

• As soon as possible

Salary:

• £45,000 – £50,000 gross per annum, depending on experience
